What's up with Google?

Google is both a company and verb. Thousands of college students get minimum grades through google, students every get help on answers, and the engine itself has been come so ingrained in our society that when searching for an answer to a ridiculous question...we just google it.

Google's logo, the 'g' is a metonym of Google. A simple blue, lower case g used to represent a company that created a search engine, owns YouTube, is a unit of measurement (A googol is the large number 10¹⁰⁰; that is, the digit 1 followed by 100 zeroes: 10,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000,­000), and is used world wide.
